The grand opening of the 2021 International Physics Olympiad took place in Vilnius. 76 countries and nearly 400 students from around the world participated remotely.
This was the first global-scale physics event organized in Lithuania, requiring four years of preparation.
I co-led the Lithuanian physics team together with Dr. Vytautas Jakštas (FTMC). The team comprised five students:
- Tomas Babelis
- Emilis Strazdas
- Monika Šadauskaitė
- Justas Kaminskas
- Tadas Danilevičius
The team won four bronze medals and a commendation. Congratulations!
