Quantum simulators have become one of the cornerstone technologies, and cold atoms — among the pioneers in building such devices, particularly optical lattice systems allowing precise parameter control.
My research focuses on non-classical states of cold atoms in periodically-disturbed spin-orbit coupling systems, using world-leading atomic and quantum optics research. The work incorporates spin degrees of freedom, aiming to generate spin squeezing and quantum entanglement.
Results could improve precision in existing quantum metrology technologies, in line with the Quantum Manifesto objectives.
44th Lithuanian National Physics Conference (October 6–8, 2021, Vilnius). Together with co-authors we presented Simulation of one-axis squeezing with atomic fermions in optical lattices.
I also served as a Young Scientists Competition judge and represented the Lithuanian Physical Society during the conference.
